Can y’all believe that there’s only four more days until Christmas?! I’ve gotten all of my shopping done and now all I have to do is wrap and put the gifts under the tree. It hasn’t been cold enough down here but it snowed yesterday in Winston-Salem, so I can only imagine what the rest of winter has in store for us when school starts again!
My Top 5 Moments:
1. I spent the afternoon downtown earlier this week to get some shopping done and King Street was all decorated for the holiday season. Charleston is adorable year-round but all of the lights and wreaths decorating the streets and during this time of the year are hard to beat.
2. I have to admit that one of my favorite parts about being home for break is the fact that I barely have to do any cooking for myself. Look at the breakfast my dad made for me the other day. Yum!
3. I had a job interview on Friday! Maybe this means that I’m at least somewhat employable and actually have the potential for being a ~real~ person someday.
4. Christmas is never complete without a decorated tree and a reindeer mug!
5. I went to the movies yesterday with my dad and we saw Birdman. I knew very little about the plot beforehand but I ended up really enjoying the film. The humor was definitely darker than it is in films I usually watch but I would still recommend going out to see it before it leaves theatres.
