This past Monday, I met up with some friends from Wake who are also studying abroad in London for dinner on High Street Kensington. After debating between two restaurants, we decided to eat at Giraffe which is a popular chain in London. I’m not exactly sure why (maybe because it was a Monday night?) but drinks were half priced so we all started with cocktails. I got the Strawberry Moule which was a fun pink color and tasted like a Jolly Rancher.
I must have been particularly hungry that night because I totally forgot to take pictures of my food before I started eating. We shared chicken potstickers as an appetizer and then I ordered the Farmers’ Market Burrito as my main and also got sweet potato fries for the table. I’ve actually been to Giraffe once before (last fall) and the food was just as delicious as I remember. For dessert, I shared the Apple & Red Cherry Crumble with one of my friends, which I did manage to get a picture of.
May or may not have devoured my burrito in under 5 minutes
Overall, the food and the company were both excellent. And because we’re students we got a discount on our meals which we didn’t even realize was a thing when we chose to eat at Giraffe.
