Life is a Journey

Life is a Journey // 4.5.2015

April 5, 2015

Another week has already gone by! I had a few papers and an exam this week but I survived many a late night in the library and am happy to be on the other side. And, as you’ll see, most of my “happy” moments from this week revolve around food which shouldn’t be too surprised… Anyways I hope that everyone has had an amazing Easter weekend and even if you don’t celebrate Easter,  I hope that you enjoyed the long weekend.

March 22, 2015

It’s crazy to think that at this time just last week I was lounging by the pool in Cancun with a piña colada in my hand. Although going to classes can’t really compare, it’s been nice to be back on campus with all of my friends and back to my normal routine. Last week I spent spring break in Cancun with some of my closest friends. Apparently I’ve been to Mexico before but I was so young that I can’t even remember it so it was like traveling to a new country for the first time. Birthday Celebrations

March 2, 2015

Last Sunday we went downtown to celebrate one of my closest friend’s 22nd birthday. Granted her birthday was actually on Monday but, you know, we’re all believers of the whole “birthday week.”

We ate at a restaurant that’s a favorite of ours, Jeffrey Adams, which I’ve eaten at a few times already this semester. Per usual I ordered the lobster mac n’ cheese and we all split a pitcher of pomegranate sangria. Luckily I don’t have class on Mondays so I didn’t have to worry about getting up early or anything. We also took a TON of pictures because we all love to pose and pretend like we’re much more popular on Facebook than we actually are (which is the whole point of Facebook… right??). No pictures, however, were taken while we were eating because even as much as I love my camera, a girl has to have her priorities.
