It feels like forever since I last blogged! With my travels last week and then having to come back to the real world and get back into the swing of things at work, it seems like I’ve been running around nonstop for the past two weeks. But I’m back and so, so excited for spring and everything the warmer temperatures have to offer–aka finally getting to wear dresses and open toed shoes, as well as trips to the shore!
I’m so excited that it’s finally March because it means that my least favorite month of the year is finally over! Although I do have to say, the weather has been pretty awesome lately so I haven’t hated February too much this year. Granted the fact that it’s been 50-60 degrees for the past few weeks has also made me a little nervous about the state of the planet but a girl can indulge in feeling happy every once in a while, right?
I’m still in shock that it’s already February y’all! I feel like we were all ringing in the new year just yesterday, but here we are in the second month of 2017 already!
How are your New Year’s Resolutions going so far? I’ve been surprisingly good about working out 4-5 days a week but I will admit that I’ve indulged in the free Cheetos in my office a few times when I get the munchies in the afternoon… Not terrible though, if I may say so myself!
Happy 2017, y’all!! I’m still in shock that we’ve finally made it to the new year, but also very ready for this year to get going since I have so many exciting trips planned throughout the next few months.
What has been your favorite part of the new year so far? I really loved getting Monday off from work to enjoy 2017 while not slightly hungover from all of the festivities on New Year’s Eve. Plus I’ll take any excuse to sleep in most mornings!
Y’all I can’t believe that there’s only one more month in 2016!! I feel like I was just writing down my resolutions for 2016 and getting ready for my first winter in Connecticut, so it’s crazy this year has passed by so quickly. We also had our first big snowfall last night so I woke up to a winter wonderland this morning!
Now that it’s December I feel like I can finally get into the Christmas spirit and so I spent this weekend pulling out my decorations from storage and getting everything set up. Do y’all start decorating for Christmas before or after Thanksgiving?
Woah! Can y’all believe that it’s already November??
While I’m already missing summer (and looking forward to summer 2017!), it’s hard to not love all of the changing leaves and fiery autumn colors all around us in the northeast. What are your favorite parts of November? I’m really looking forward to spending a few days at home for Thanksgiving and for the holiday season to officially begin!
