I have a love/hate relationship with my hair. Some days I wake up and my hair looks amazing and shiny and everything’s right in the world. And then there are other days when I wake and my hair is standing on end and it literally looks like I’ve been electrocuted in my sleep… Which could actually be a possibility since I sleep so heavily!
Luckily for me, and everyone else out there who wakes up in the morning looking frighteningly similar to a sheepdog, the team at Irresistible Me has just what the hairdresser would order–their Diamond Styler.
I usually tend to just blow dry my hair after getting out of the shower, which helps but doesn’t totally solve my frizz problem, so this hair straightener was definitely a much needed addition to my normal morning routine. I’m pretty low maintenance when it comes to my hair (i.e. I usually throw it into a bun with an exasperated sigh on bad hair days but don’t try much else), but I found that this hair straightener was absolutely perfect for me. It heated up fast and there was an automatic shut off button, which is totally clutch so that I don’t worry all day about whether or not I forgot to unplug the straightener!
The straightener is light weight and easy to use, which is a necessity for me since I’m constantly burning myself when I try to curl my hair or anything like that. Plus Irresistible Me includes a how-to guide for different ways in which you can use the straightener to achieve different hairstyles. Which cut out the time that I usually take to search for how-to videos on Youtube and the instructions were simple to follow!
I personally loved how flipping in the straightener as I used it made my hair look fuller and really brought out the angles in my new haircut!
