Whenever I travel with my boyfriend, one of the things that I look forward to the most is going out to dinner. We’re both fairly casual when it comes to our style, so I love when we both get the opportunity to dress up to the nines and walk hand-in-hand for a date. Plus I’ll take any excuse that I can get to wear red lipstick!
You know when you’ve picked the right date because they can make you smile for no reason and laugh until you feel your sides starting to stitch.
I’ve never actually been to Las Vegas but it’s one of those places that practically all of my friends have been to before, and literally EVERYONE comes back from their trip raving about how much fun they’ve had. The lights, the restaurants, the casinos, Britney Spears… What more could you ask for in one city??
So when I was bored at work recently, I researched the best Vegas hotels and date restaurants in Vegas. Because I like to consider myself a novice foodie, a bunch of restaurants caught my eye, but the real winner that I found was Top of the World at Stratosphere. Located above the Strip, Top of the World offers the most amazing views of the city and apparently rotates 360 degrees so that you’re not stuck with the same view for your entire meal!
Just imagining being on a date, drinking, eating, and laughing as the sun set behind the skyline was enough to make me want to book us both tickets on the next plane to Vegas. Inspired by the reds of the setting sun and the dark blues of the oncoming night sky, I picked out this dress from NY&Co which I felt like encompassed that natural beauty.
Plus the dress is flow-y so you can eat as much as you want at dinner (dessert included, of course, because calories don’t count on vacation!) and still look super cute and fabulous!
So take your date’s hand and lead him or her off into the beautiful sunset for your dinner night out, while looking equally as beautiful in this blue and red number.
